Easter Holidays at the Fort de Chillon Museum:
A Unique Experience for the Whole Family
From April 12 to 27, the Fort de Chillon Museum will open its doors every day, offering Easter holidays filled with discovery and entertainment.
Located near Montreux, opposite the famous Château de Chillon, our museum has prepared a special program combining culture, indulgence, and fun activities for all ages.
Here’s what awaits you:
First Participation in PâKOMUZé: Workshops and Educational Trails
For the first time, the Fort de Chillon Museum is joining the cultural event PâKOMUZé. On this occasion, a unique workshop on Swiss fortifications through the ages is available (reservation required). Dive into the history of Swiss military structures, from medieval walls to 20th-century bunkers.
Additionally, an educational trail allows children to discover why the museum’s mascot is a hedgehog—a symbol of defense and ingenuity.
Gourmet Easter Egg Hunt (April 18–21)
Experience an extraordinary Easter egg hunt in partnership with Chocolat Villars, Biscuits Agathe, and Morand Syrups. Each child will receive an eco-cup and embark on a quest to find decorative eggs hidden throughout the Fort. Along the way, they’ll collect chocolates and other treats to fill their cup. A fun and delicious way to explore this iconic site!
The Fort de Chillon Museum is perfect for a family excursion, rain or shine. Discover our immersive permanent exhibition on The Adventure of the Swiss Soldier and the fascinating history of the National Redoubt. Through interactive cinematics, strategic games, and quizzes, dive into the world of Swiss citizen-soldiers while addressing current defense themes in a non-alarming way.
