Legends that make you shiver This autumn, Fort de Chillon invites its young visitors into the mysterious world of tales and legends from the canton of Vaud. Drawing on the work of Alfred Cérésole, this Halloween programme celebrates local heritage through creatures straight out of our valleys and lakeshores.
The hunt for legendary creatures
Throughout October, mysterious chests will be hidden throughout the Museum. Some conceal terrifying creatures… others hold a collector's sticker featuring a legendary being from the region. Can you find them all?

🖋️ Damien Leuba, author of the comic book devoted to the Hutzeran de Pannex, brings the local legend to life through his art — a unique collaboration between heritage and contemporary illustration.
📖 The House of Tales and Legends of Dorénaz will host storytelling afternoons for families — a gentle yet spine-tingling way to discover the stories that have shaped generations in our region.
Grand finale: Costume Candy Hunt
Thursday, October 31 — afternoon
Put on your best costume and join the great candy hunt through the rooms of the Fort! A magical and slightly spooky adventure in one of the most extraordinary settings on Lake Geneva.
