Que faire à Montreux CET AUTOMNE?
Two exhibitions to discover at Chillon: heritage and living memory
This autumn, Chillon invites you on a double journey through history and memory: two exhibitions are opening at the Château de Chillon and the Musée Fort de Chillon.
Dissecting / Dressing Chillon – The collections tell the story of the castle
From 18 September 2025 to 26 April 2026, the Château de Chillon is presenting a unique exhibition that contrasts two visions of heritage:
- dissecting the monument through a rigorous archaeological approach,
- or dressing the castle with objects and stories that feed the imagination.
5 years already ! – The Fort of Chillon celebrates its anniversary
From 12 September to 12 December 2025, the Fort of Chillon Museum will be retracing its history on the occasion of its 5th anniversary.
The exhibition ‘5 years already!’ looks back on the unique history of this secret bunker turned museum:
- archives, photos, 3D staging,
- gallery of key figures in the project,
- highlights from the museum's history (Spyke, visitors, events).
A unique timeline and a series of seven exclusive podcasts enrich this narrative, offering a visual and audio immersion into the living memory of the Fort and its community.
Come and experience heritage in a different way
These two exhibitions offer a cross-disciplinary view of how our monuments evolve, transmit and inspire.
