2. Medieval Christmas at Château de Chillon
Just across from the Fort, Château de Chillon also embraces the festive spirit over three Advent weekends. On November 28-29, December 5-6, and December 12-13, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Middle Ages take over the castle's halls and courtyards: craftsmen, period dances and music, a treasure market, and farm animals bring this thousand-year-old fortress to life. A unique immersion into a magical medieval Advent, organized in partnership with Riviera Montreux Noël, complete with a special menu created for the occasion at Café Byron. 3. Santa's House at Rochers-de-Naye
Head for the summit for an unforgettable experience! From November 20 to December 24, 2026, hop aboard the famous GoldenPass cogwheel train from Montreux station and reach, in under an hour, Santa's secret cave nestled at 2,042 meters above sea level. Once there, children meet the "real" Santa Claus and enjoy a treasure hunt, face painting, and sweet treats, all while taking in a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. 4. The Flying Santa
An unmissable, free highlight on the Montreux waterfront! Every evening during the Christmas market, Santa Claus takes flight on his sleigh between the CGN boat landing and the Place du Marché, soaring above the crowd in a dazzling display of lights over the lake. A magical show to enjoy with the whole family — the best viewing spot is along the promenade, between the Freddie Mercury statue and the Ferris wheel.

5. The Christmas Chalets on the Lakeside Promenade
The beating heart of the Montreux Christmas Market! Stretching nearly a kilometer along the lake, more than 150 beautifully decorated and illuminated chalets invite visitors to browse local crafts, gift ideas, mulled wine, and delicious specialties.
